Description:
The project comprises of the redevelopment of the existing 227-233 Tottenham Court Road building and 24 Store Street. The building was first constructed in 1905 and will be converted from a 4 storey multi-use building to a 5 storey unit, plus gallery floor, office and retail outlet. The existing façade to the building will be retained, maintaining the original features. The building will be demolished internally and rebuilt housing two staircases, a lift and toilet cores. The completed building will also incorporate a new timber-frame curved glass roof, offering panoramic views of London.
